Candle Care
It is always important to take proper care of your candles before, during, and after each use. Taking care of your candles is meant to prevent accidents, fires, or serious injuries. Better care for your candles also means they will last longer, and who wouldn’t want a longer-lasting candle. To take the best care of your candle, we recommend the following:
- Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each use.
- Be sure to keep debris out of the wax pool.
- Burn your candle long enough to create a full melt pool each burn.
- Try not to burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Always use on a flat and heat resistant surface away from drafts.
- Do not burn the candle near anything that could catch fire.
- Never extinguish a candle with water, and let wax harden before next use.
- Cover your candle with it's lid when not in use.
